With a strategic step to widen your distribution network, you took the bold step to start building ultra modern cold rooms for key agents, acquired property to build a distribution hub to cater for the northern parts of Ghana. You also introduced a new spiral freezer in your production facility to improve the quality of finished products.
Through innovation and creativity, you designed integrated marketing communication program which ensured your visibility in the market.
In respect of the environment you contributed to the Accra Plastic Waste Management project and in 2008 undertook a sanitation awareness campaign involving 90 schools nationwide and donated 353 litterbins which are worthy to note.
While prices of stocks spiraled heavily downwards across the globe on many capital markets, your share prices gained over 80% on the Ghana Stock Exchange in 2008. Your profit after tax in 2008 represents a 62% increase over that of 2007.
With customer focused approach to business, you have invested a lot in marketing research many of which are geared towards getting feedback from your customers and measuring yourself vis-à-vis the global company. In 2008, you invested in new areas of marketing research, continuously tracking and benchmarking the retail trade.
Your tree planting project and support for the rehabilitation of drug addicts are pluses to your corporate social responsibility. Your impressive stock performance, coupled with investments in research, engendered business interests in your operation.
