 Fan Milk Limited has presented a cheque for GH¢5,000 to the Community Policing Unit of the Ghana Police Service in Accra. Community policing is a specialized unit which highlights crime prevention, and mandated to partner with the community in order to identify incidents of crime or other social vices.
Presenting the cheque on behalf of management and staff the head of security, Superintendent Johnson Ganyo (rtd) said the presentation formed part of the company’s social responsibilities and expressed the hope that the money would assist the unit to give their best by detecting crime before it is committed.
The commander of the unit Assistant commissioner of Police (ACP) Ms. Florence Arthur, who received the cheque, thanked Fan Milk for the gesture ad called on other organizations and institutions to emulate it.
